After seeing a series of specialists to diagnose my son’s condition, Dr. Cox was the first doctor to sit down and truly take the time to explain everything to us. He was very thorough and didn’t assume anything—he wanted to see things for himself and review all the previous tests and scans himself before making any moves forward. He was personable and silly with my son which put him at ease. I recommend Dr. Cox for anyone who needs a general led surgeon and wants one that will make them feel listened to and valued.

I appreciate his professionalism. He also verified surgery was absolutely necessary. All possible risks and scenarios were discussed at a level my child could understand. Great bedside manners.

Dr. Cox is a very skilled and caring surgeon. He is humble about his professional accomplishments, but if your child is in need of surgical care, this is the doctor you want for your child. He takes his time in speaking to parents and has a gentle manner with his patients.

Dr Cox is an excellent surgeon. My girlfriend needed a thymectomy to treat her myasthenia gravis. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure. He was caring and attentive. His staff was also courteous. The procedure went well under 2hrs. She had 1 night stay at the hospital, thrn we were allowed to go home. While at the hospital, I found that he is actually a well-known thoracic surgeon at Memorial Hermann Children. He was referred to us by our Neurologist as a \trusted\ surgeon. We had full confidence in him. The only downside is the wait time at his office is usually long, typically more than 30'.
