Hello, we are a small family owned and operated Construction and Engineering company, located in the Houston Heights area since 1983. Since COVID-19 in early March of this year it has been almost impossible to get anything done at the Houston permitting department. Maybe someone will answer their phone, maybe they will not... I was very fortunate to speak with Mark Williams. He was professional and knowledgeable in all aspects. He actually understood my issue and offered me advice on how to best proceed with getting our plans through all the red-tape that the city of Houston has implemented since Harvey, and most recently the COVID-19 Pandemic. While the city of Houston is open they are primarily working remotely. Which I now understand and appreciate. I, like many other contractors are doing all we can to keep our doors open, and our frustration levels are high. To say the least!!! So, \THANK YOU\ Mr. Williams for all your guidance and help. Excellent service, I have been here many times over the years, and the service always above expectation. No issue with the parking at all. Waiting time at the most 35 min. Once you get in people with experience will serve you the best they can. Thank you for the good experience.
I started the residential permit process for project number on 20068313 on 07/22/20. It’s been 30 days and I still do not have a permit. I have submitted plans several different times only to get different comments each time after I submit and correct issues. Instead of giving me one big list from each department on what I need they’ve given me small list from different departments each time. It is very costly to have an engineer constantly change drawings. I last submitted drawings on 08/13/20 and still nobody from the planning department has reviewed my drawings. And when I contact and leave messages I’m not able to get ahold of anyone from the planning department
Been trying to contact a representative multiple times since December I have left various voicemails and no call back. I submitted my plans since August and never got a call back. I need an update where to pay my fee I also sent an email and also no respond.
