A Great Local Company for South Houston and Pasadena residents, for all their landscaping and soil needs. And probably even further away for clients who finds this operation and wish to return to, which is convenient and easy to enter and exit on Genoa Red Bluff. Which is easy to find from SH 3 aka Old Galveston highway. Affordable, reasonable pricing, Very Good communication, by an owner with experience in the industry and willing to give his best advice if you have questions. Not everything (plants, flowers or trees) grows well or is easy to grow in this planting zone. So if you aren’t experienced at having a green thumb or don’t care to read and research your project carefully, then ask any question. I have tried a few companies, over the years before this company and I am most impressed overall with Pasadena Mulch. The location, service and product!

These guys are simply THE BEST!! We used their dirt for our plants and it far outperformed that of a well known local nursery for growing vegetables. Our plants died two years in a row with that dirt and we were told \gardens take years...\ Umm, nope you just sell expensive, poor dirt that turns to powder. But not Pasadena Sand & Mulch! They also have amazing, large and sturdy flagstone. And an on-line calculator to tell you how much you need to buy. Their sod has always lived as well. Just very impressed every time we've been there, be sure and ask for Martin and Alfred - they make it so easy to buy there! Great customer service.
So, I ordered 6 cubic yards of dirt. Dump trucks fill to 10-12 cubic yards per a dump truck load. That's not what was delivered: it looks more like 2-3 cubic yards. The dirt blend (they don't sell topsoil) is mostly sand, nearly white in color. I'm not sure that the St Augustine sod that I plan to lay Sunday will take to this. I went because of the outstanding Google Review rating. This was a first and last purchase for me.
