This Panther G at the town of Celles, some 10 km from Dinant, Belgium. Was the leading Panther of Kampfgruppe von Cochenhausen, that after detonating a mine on 24 december 1944, was left immobilised in a field. It was stripped and towed out of the field by American engineers, the tank probably slided into a ditch infront of the cafe of Marthe Monrique, the Americans could not get it out of the ditch and Marthe just ask for the papers of the tank and sort of bought the Panther. It was placed in front of the cafe were it still is today.
