Very reliable, fair, trustworthy and affordable. They never ramp up costs and have fixed things brilliantly several times, compared to other providers. For example, 30 to fix my golf door, when quoted 450 at Caffyns
I've been using these two guys for years and can thoroughly recommend them, I'll be gutted if they ever close down. Totally trustworthy who will only do repairs that are necessary, even if that means turning work away. There are two Holy Grails in this world: one is a good plumber the other, reliable mechanics - I need to find a good plumber! Edit April 2019. Gutted this place has closed down due to site being developed. Where am I going to go now?
I have used Addison Autos for many years now following a friend's recommendation. I have always been very happy with their friendly and honest service and trust them explicitly. They always go out of their way to help, fit appointments in to suit you and only carry out work that needs to be done, unlike other garages. I once visited with a problem expecting quite a hefty bill and it turned out to be only a minor fault at a small cost. As I said, a genuine and honest garage that I highly recommend.
It's not often that you come home from the mechanic feeling so positive that you have to write a 5-star review the moment you step through the door. The guys at Addison Autos are such polite, honest and courteous gentlemen (to the point that they even opened the door for me!). Always happy to squeeze you in, nothing is a problem or inconvenient. I love the fact that they explain exactly what the problem was and even show you the parts they replaced. It is never done in a patronising way, which I often experience as a young woman. Their mechanical work is to a high standard and comes at a reasonable price, but for me, the positive interactions and conversation we have every time I go in is priceless. I can't recommend Addison Autos enough. Thank you!
An excellent Garage. Honest, fair, friendly and helpful. My daughter is a student at Brighton Uni. Addison Autos have serviced repaired and taken care of her car for the 3 years she has been in Brighton. Wish all garages were as honest and competent.
Used Addison Autos for a while now for various repairs and MoT’s etc. They consistently provide a great service and always happy to help! Really reccomend them, very honest and never overpriced from my experience.
