Been going since Rob opened. Best swim school in Brighton. Proper swim coaching unlike all the group swim schools I tried who seem to just let the kids splash around! More expensive, but it's 1:1 or 1:2 so contact time it works out far better value than in a class of 6 or more.

Such a fantastic swim school for kids! As the lessons are held in small, private endless pools with a maximum of five parents and kids each time, you feel relaxed and can really enjoy the experience and learn. You also feel really looked after and that every child is individually attended to. Thanks Rob for setting up this unique place! ..and thanks Brad for teaching my one year old daughter to swim and putting so much energy into the lessons.

Absolutely superb swimming school with a big, big difference. Lessons are undertaken in a pro-athlete flow tank, whereby you swim against an adjustable current while watched over and coached by your instructor, who also uses video footage and in-tank mirrors to assess the totality of your stroke in order to give you the best possible instruction. Our daughter attended for two years and, to this day, has a set of powerful and elegant strokes that serve her well both when she is having fun and when she competes in triathlon. Highly recommended.

My 3 yr old daughter hadn't had a single swim lesson until she started about 10 weeks ago at Aquanauts. Today she swam across the pool unaided. She has been learning with another little girl the same age, stage and temperment (the swim school takes great care in suitably matching fellow 'swim-mates') and it has been a hugely positive experience for us both. My older two children started learning before the days of Aquanauts so we spent a lot of time traipsing to crowded lessons, in cold pools, where they spent more time sitting on the side than they did in the water, as eight kids took it in turns to do a length. At Aquanauts the kids learn faster and better. The whole place is modern, clean and comfortable. The pool water is warm, and there are pool side cameras linked up to TV screens in the dry 'waiting room', so you can watch their amazing progress without distracting them and whilst having a coffee. There is no better way to get your kids swimming (for you and them). Great value for money and worth every penny. Thank you Aquanauts!

Timewasters. Didn't even bother to respond to enquiries by email and on the phone. Why leave contact details on your website if you are so rude as to not even reply?

High recommendation from us. Our daughter learns with Chris and it’s worth stretching to 1:2:1 lessons as she has come really far in a short space of time with him. Started with an intensive course and went from there to a regular lesson once a week. Get on the waitlist if necessary! Update: get some verruca socks for the changing rooms. Our daughter has picked up 2 in the space of a couple of weeks. Unavoidable maybe but still makes me cringe and question how often they are thoroughly cleaned (the changing rooms, not her feet).
