Bali Brasserie Reviews | Rating 4.4 out of 5 stars (8 reviews)

Bali Brasserie is located in Hove, United Kingdom on Kingsway Court, First Ave. Bali Brasserie is rated 4.4 out of 5 in the category restaurant in United Kingdom. A fixture on the Hove dining scene, the Bali Brasserie is a fun and exotic hideaway on Kingsway Court that is a popular spot for parties and drinks-and-dinner dates. Quirky and luscious at the same time, the Bali Brasserie is a great place for after-work drinks and schmoozy luncheons, and the Tropical Bar – which is furnished with pool tables and a dance floor - hosts live blues, jazz and reggae bands every Thursday night. The Indonesian / Malaysian menu is filled with tropical treats - make sure you save room for the popular beef Rendang curry cooked with spices and coconut and the flambéed banana drizzled with liqueurs, butter and cinnamon served with coconut ice cream.

We went here as a group following good reviews about the food. The waiters and servers staff were excellent. The food was good once the order was corrected. Please be aware if you ask for your meal spicy, it is not warmer than a korma. The manager was awful, inattentive, unapologetic and rude. We were seated at 19.30, our drinks and order taken, then we proceed to wait for 2 hours until our starters arrived. This was dismissed by the manager who thought it acceptable to blame the kitchen. Unfortunately giving an excuse passing the buck isn't just to the other fantastic staff who were more than apologetic. If the restaurant is not able to run efficiently at 75% capacity then the running needs to be addressed. I understand in the current situation that times are difficult, but this is no excuse for the service we received from the manager. If we were told that we would be waiting over 2 hours for a starter then we would have left and gone to another establishment.

Fantastic Indonesian takeaway this evening We needed something to cheer and warm us up on dank start to 2021 and the Bali Brasserie came up trumps again. Beef Rendang, Prawn Sambal and Chickpea & Potato Curry along with Nasi Goreng and some delicious starters spiced up with their stunning chilli blachan which should be marketed as a cure for COVID...!!! Sedap - Terima kasih

Food was delicious, waitresses were lovely. However somewhere along the line our order was mucked up. Starters took an eternity to arrive and some of the mains were wrong when they arrived. In their defence, we did get some drinks taken from the bill.
