An Italian restaurant but much closer to Pizza Hut than a cosy Sicilian place. The food was quite average but tasty. Drinks are a little bit overpriced. The staff is as professional as prison guards, don't count on a smile. The atmosphere is ok but the music is too loud and not really Italian. I have seen better places

Gluten Free friendly! We are very happy with our experience at Barcode. The staff was friendly and accommodating with our requests, and even made sure to show me the package from the gluten free pasta when I questioned it based on how good it tasted. I see why this is a popular spot for locals who love good food.
Delicious, well presented meals and drinks at very reasonable prices for what you get. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the ambience is really pleasant with the water feature and smart interior. It's always a joy coming here!
i have to say that for me this is one of the best restaurant in brighton and hove 5 star service i had beef stroganoff and my hubby had salmon
