I'm sick of these reviews from people that obviously don't understand what BIMM is about. It's about the opportunities outside the class as much as inside, some lessons are dry but the opportunities outside are amazing. I've hung out with world famous bands, been to conferences and been on television all because of this great uni. Don't belive the Google review hype it's all written by guitar and vocal students, not anyone taking an academic course like event management or music business where the teachers are great and very inspiring.

Possibly the worst place you could ever study. Everyone I have met has something bad to say about this place, the only positives are the good teachers which unfortunately leave upon figuring the place out. If you want to make it in the music industry work hard, network and put your money into progressing your career, not into the pockets of bimm. I work in the industry and anything I have gained has been through my own work without the help of this school. You will be treated as a number, spoken to like you are worthless and moulded into whatever they want you to be. To top it all off they will always try to take credit for your achievements. Please be warned and stay away from this place.
Teaching was extremely lazy and no effort is made to make the course contents interesting. I haven't touched my guitar since finishing my course. Also extremely badly written exams that 95% of people on my course failed (bimm had to re write the paper). I would never recommend bimm to anyone with an interest in music as bimm will teach you to hate music.
Its a business. You are a client not a student. Its a shame as I feel like with more love and care it could be special.
