Amazing food, can’t have normal sausage rolls after going to this place. Chicken wings are delicious, sticky and an actual bit of meat. Everything in there is to die for, savoury and sweet. Literally looked at an apartment nearby and first thought was omg it’s near Canham and Sons, I could get it everyday!

AMAZING!!!! Such good quality meats, picnic items, cakes. Possibly the best Scotch Egg in the UK - Massive and Soo Delicious packed with flavour and really fills you up I also had the Cheese Straws 3 for a 1, what a bargain - Light, Cheesy and so tasty The Walnut Brownies are really good - Not your gooey type of Brownie. But traditional packed with so many walnuts Every time I visit, it is always the same high standard - YUMMY!!!!

I absolutely love everything about this shop! Fantastic traditional butchers with the best tasting chicken breasts in Brighton (free range), grass fed meats, AMAZING cakes, great staff. Even my veggie bf likes going as he's obsessed with their millionaires shortbread and frangipane

I have been buying steak at canhams for years and have always been more than happy with the quality of meat they sell. However I bought two large fillet steaks yesterday to have today and all I can say is that they were awful. Not exaggerating they were possibly the most tasteless pieces of beef I had ever had. I should have realised maybe when the customer in front of me declined to buy any as they did look a bit pale. However I trusted this shop so bought them anyway at a cost of 26.00. I cooked them for 8 minutes yet they tasted of nothing and couldn’t actually eat mine, so it ended up in the dog. I am very disappointed and won’t be buying there again. Such a shame as they have always been so good

This place is incredible!! I don’t know the backstory but it’s like the best baker in England married the best butcher and they combined to make this beauty! The selection is huge, from breakfast to dinner options they have it all covered. Their pastry is some of the best I’ve tasted. All fresh and managed very well by their friendly staff. Free home made lemonade and tea/coffee whilst you’re there!!
