Cookbookbake is one my favourite shops. Whether it's browsing the extensive selections of titles about food and drink, or getting personalised book recommendations from the knowledgeable staff, this shop is a mecca for anyone who loves to cook, or eat. Or drink! Highly recommend a visit, and a purchase or three!
Imagine you love books. Imagine you love food. Now imagine a shop dedicated to those two things alone. This place is dreamy. Books from every country imaginable.
Arrived at the shop after closing time but we were welcomed in. Great selection of books including one on Patisserie which I had spotted last time I visited. So I bought the book! Looking forward to the time when I can attend one of their events,
I am very disappointed with the customer service. Shame as the content of the shop looks great. I was challenged ( not in a very polite way either) about my face covering ! I would like to suggest that the lady who runs this place will get herself familiar with govt directive when it comes to face masks / face coverings ! Also I am a person who is exempt from wearing face mask but still make an effort to do so therefore i'm using a bandana. I think times are hard enough and really there is no need for this kind of behaviour!

An incredible repository of cookery books. It's a colourful and comfortable shop, next to the wonderful Sugardough bakery and a few other delightful shops. The owner Julie is also so friendly and really knows her stuff. Highly recommended for all those who can't get enough cookery books.
The most amazingly curated cookbook shop I've seen with super niche stuff and friendly staff to help you out with your needs.
