I feel extremely fortunate to have found Karen and her tutoring agency. Karen is extremely easy to deal with; she quickly acts to meet your needs. During the second lockdown, we decided to invest in a daily tutor to support our primary aged son in meeting his online classroom demands. The tutor who Karen helped us with was superb; communicative, warm and knowledgeable. She checked in weekly with the online classroom to ensure she was supporting the work our son was being set and she consistently helped him meet - and exceed expectations. And their rapport was lovely! Whilst we have temporarily stopped working with our tutor, she will be very much missed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Elite.

We have had Lynne tutor us in Biology IGCSE, she has been absolutely superb. She knows the specification inside and out and uses different methods to keep us engaged. Nothing is too much trouble, she went over and above. She also knows lots of interesting stuff around the topic, I learnt so much, She would be great to have on your team in a quiz!

Elite Tutors have been great. Our son’s tutor has been excellent and guided him through the BOFA process in advance of some entrance exams. The zoom lessons work ok and the learning is very organised, and exactly what we were looking for to complement our useless attempts at homeschooling during five months of Covid lockdown. I’ve just booked another ten lessons!

I contacted elite tutors as my 13 year old daughter has always struggled with maths and English but never quite enough for the school to notice. However as she hits teenage years and her GCSE’s I noticed her self esteem starting to plummet where it came to learning. I had a long chat with Karen on the phone where she was so helpful and reassuring. She suggested dyslexia screening from what I had described about my daughter. My daughter was very reluctant as she worried that it would just show that she was ‘thick’ but Karen was so friendly and good at what she does that my daughter was soon fine about it after her clear explanations. I then got the report back very quickly and Karen was available to discuss it all in detail over the phone to help explain it all and to discuss next steps. She was the most knowledgeable person I have spoke to about dyslexia and the school system and I’m married to a dyslexic teacher ! She is helping us now with what to focus on with the school and with suggestions that will help my daughter going forwards. She was so interested in her as a person and not just getting her to do better but to help her confidence and be happier at school. Even if you don’t want tutoring I can’t recommend getting your child screened if you think they are struggling- I wish I had done it sooner! Well worth every penny!
