I can thoroughly recommend Suzanne as a tutor. We had weekly Skype lessons over summer to help me get my rusty French up to speed for work. She really quickly identified which areas I needed to focus on and set up fun, well structured lessons to address the issues. She was super at finding relevant and interesting material to discuss. I really enjoyed a block of 10 lessons with Susanne from French Lessons Brighton and Hove over the lockdown period, she is very patient and takes time to work through everything slowly. I would love to attend her group speaking meetings once we are allowed to meet in person again, Skype lessons have been great but the audio and technical issues can be a pain. I would really recommend talking with Susanne for a boost in your speaking and listening practice and general confidence to start speaking more in French more often.
Suzanne is a great teacher. Really, friendly, welcoming and supportive. She'll tailor your classes to your level and needs. I've had courses with her in person (before covid-19 arrived) and on Skype - both work well, Skype actually worked much better than I thought it would. I'd definitely recommend her! And hope to have classes again with her in future.
I contacted Suzanne because I was looking for something quite niche. I was getting married and my partner is french, I wanted to learn some phrases to use at the wedding with his family. I also wanted help translating some of my wedding vows. Suzanne was very prompt in her replies and was keen to help me out! I met my tutor, Julia, who visited me at home once a week for 5 weeks before the wedding. We went through some helpful phrases, we did some role play to practice, Julia also took it on herself to help me refresh some basic french skills which helped me to follow the replies of my conversation partner. Julia was very friendly, professional and a patient teacher. She was very encouraging and boosted my confidence during a stressful time trying to organise a wedding!! I would very much recommend the team and I was grateful that they could meet my, quite unusual, needs. Thank you Julia!!
