Had a loud clanking sound coming from my 207 engine. My local garage couldn't diagnose problem and wanted 500 quid to take engine apart to see what was wrong. Everything seemed to suggest it was not cost effective to repair given the car's age . Took it to this dealer and they identified the problem within hours. The fix was not cheap but given the value of car and its condition worth it. Update: Fixed car to my satisfaction. No complaints with service.
Please avoid hiring a car though KAP Peugeot Brighton. We took on 2 company lease cars and the service and customer experience has been the worst I have ever seen. Our address had not been updated correctly from day 1 resulting in over 300 of accumulated dart charge fines being sent to the wrong address for months without even calling or emailing us. Terry (the floor Manager) is extremely rude and argumentative, he won't ever take responsibility for any issues and will direct you though to a Peugeot finance number (which never answers) We also later found out that we were given a test drive by a Peugeot manager that had been banned for speeding the week before. Don't put yourself through what we have had to.
Excellent service, couldn't fault it from start to finish. Very professional, updated me at every turn, completed my car ahead of time and dealt with all of my enquiries efficiently. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will be using again.
DO NOT GO NEAR THEM. I bought a car from KAP in August, having dealt with Becks for years, who were superb. I have had health issues so asked KAP to buy the car back, of course I would lose out but that was not the problem. Over the course of SIX weeks, they did not return my calls, the weekend before last the 'salesman' put the phone down on me,, yet another sales person called me to see if I wanted to resell to them. No communication. They lie and treat people appallingly. It took several phone calls to speak to the manager, always blocked, who is a wet week. They didn't even transfer the money when they said they would. I got it eventually. I would not even give them one star but I have no control over that. Go elsewhere.
Service desk lady very nice and polite but workmanship appalling. Was told nothing they could do after trying to fix my accessible ramp then on further investigation they had made situation worse
In November 2016 my old car reached the end of it's lifespan, sadly! Hunting for a new car I accidentally came across KAP and went in. Luke listened to my needs and showed me different options. Taking onboard what I specifically asked for he recommended the most suitable option which was actually the cheaper of the cars he showed me. In less than a week I was in my used car, my old car was taken car of and all in all it was very easy and stress free. The car I bought has worked perfectly and I'm 100% confident that if I ever have a problem Luke and KAP will provide the same level of care they provided me during the sale of the car.
Got to be honest and say I disagree with the majority of the reviews on here. I've been visiting this dealership since late '14 - early '15. I initially dealt with a lady named Lexi who was friendly and extremely professional. One of the first faces I grew to know was the former GM Pete. His endeavour to know his customer base and make himself known created a seemless and pleasant experience each time I visited. I have recently had the pleasure of dealing with another professional face, Freddy. She has always gone the extra mile for my partner and I and thank her tremendously for her support through pur purchase of our 308. The entire team here is friendly and cannot do enough to help you. From initial greeting from Sharon on reception through to driving away. I couldn't promote this place enough. My only drawback would be the new GM who has not yet introduced himself. I do feel I know the team and would have liked to have had an introduction, especially in our 2 months close interaction with buying our new car. Make your own opinions and do not be swayed by negative reviews on here.
