A very tasty breakfast at a good price, mainly we were impressed by the quality of the food and the atmosphere. The staff are hospitable and it is easy to order via their QR code. We will stop by for dinner next time!

I don't think it is doing as well as it was. It was empty when we last went there a couple of days ago in mid December 2020 compared to other more busy restaurants on the same evening, even though it was mid week. They have in the past always been happy and child friendly and there are not many child friendly pubs/restaurants in Hove so that is a big plus because in the Modelo Lounge there are games for children to play with while you relax, eat and have a pint (or two!) but the mood of the 2 staff during this visit seemed to reflect the emptiness of the place. Maybe it is about to close down and the staff know this?! The menu is full and varied, if a little pricey. Portions can sometimes be a little small. The Brunch menu is fantastic and very reasonably priced and is served all day. I did not use the table order QR code service because on reading their terms and conditions, my personal details and bank details would have been sent to the USA via the 'braintree' server, and i didn't want my name, email address and mobile phone number to be sold on. Also, 'zonal retail data systems' use your email address to generate your receipt and although it says they do not store your email address, there would be nothing to stop them selling it on. Best thing to say to the staff is that you prefer to verbally make your order with one of the Modeolo Lounge staff.
Great service from a cheerful and helpful waitress, and good food. Steak wasn't medium rare as if ordered, it was well done but it was such a nice bit of steak, didn't seem worth complaining. Nice place, would go back.

Have been here for both dinner and drinks as well as brunch. Food has been really good on both occasions, and really affordable prices too. Love the vibe in there too!
Nice brunch even though portion size a little small. Chose the poached eggs on an English muffin with hollandaise sauce and opted for an extra with a portion of button mushrooms. Tasty but just not enough.
Nice little spot I chilled with one of the boys. Got a lemonade with a cucumber in it cmon
