Sadly I had to give up drinking coffee some years ago because it played havoc with my blood pressure, and of all the things I gave up coffee was the one I missed the most, but I always knew decafe would not be an issue but the taste was not that great and in most cases chemicals were used to clean the coffee of the caffeine. Any ways I was on location recently and there was a lovely guy (the Coffee Paramedic) who served me the best decafe ever and so I asked him where he got and he then told me about Pharmacie Coffee in Brighton which is where he got his beans and that their decaf was CO2 cleaned and they sold their coffee online…so I got some. All I can say is my coffee arrived beautifully packaged and it tasted just as good as I remembered and I am over the moon as I can now enjoy a lovely cup of coffee again and based on my experience wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pharmacie coffee to anybody who asked. Thank you for the great coffee and great service.

Noe Mall

This is one of the Hove hidden gems. Opened only on weekends, Pharmacie is a local roastery for Ground, Porteur, Forth and Church and some other coffee shops around Brighton, Hove and Lewes. They serve few single origins and blended espresso based drinks with soy and oatmilk options. Obviously you can buy range of freshly roasted beans. But do not expect any food.

Being able to still get the ground beans online from here during the lockdown to be able to make a really good coffee at home is making such a massive difference to my day. It just tastes so much noticeably better than every ground coffee I've ever tried. Thank you so much!

My favorite bar in the whole wide world! The drinks are made well, unlike most other bars. I'd recommend a Stormy Bastille to my fruity flavor lovers. The rooftop is never crowded and there are always spots to sit, even if you have to cozy up by a stranger (the tables are community type). They have board games, a dj (on weekends), and of course FOOD. The Brussels sprouts are their most popular

Bloody legends. Had a lockdown coffee shortage emergency and they came and hand delivered on the same day. Brilliant roast as well!
