Best Fish and Chips in the area and most competitive price too! Every time I get and chips from somewhere else it's never as good as the seahorse and I always wish I hadn't tried somewhere else. What I love: The chips are crispy and properly cooked: in other chippies chips can be white, barely cooked chunks of potato. The fish isn't overly fishy, there's no tail or skin on display, just fish fillet covered in tasty crispy batter.

Friendly, quick, crispy and light batter and well cooked chips. Reasonable prices and portions too, one of the best in the area despite being a lot cheaper than some others.
The regular fish is BIG and only 4.50 and tasty. The chips are nice too. The owner is friendly. It says they close at 10pm, but get in before 9 30pm as they seem to stop cooking chips!
Haddock was massive, chips a beautiful golden brown. Friendly service. Kids loved it, we loved it! Reasonably priced as well.
I have been going to Seahorse for over 18 years. The food is delicious with generous portions. A friendly family run business. I have yet to taste better fish and chips
