Decent coffee spot near the council buildings. Was able to sit for a good length of time without having to be moved. Snacks and drinks were of a decent quality. Would return if in the area.
Great little place and well placed if your in the queue for the Council help desk. Their call system is mirrored on the TV above the bar. Have visited a few times and enjoyed a nice Americano (black) with a fresh pastry. Reasonable prices and nice atmosphere.
After driving down from London, I went and sat down while waiting for a meeting to start today for 20 mins. The barista said I had to order something or leave as seating is only for customers. Not normal coffee shop behaviour at all let alone friendly. Wouldn't recommend. Also while I was there I considered picking up some cakes and nibbles for my clients, but after that interaction i chose to leave. Seeing a full coffee shop attracts more customers, that's how marketing works in general.
Great independent coffee house, grinds their own coffee which is locally roasted. Great selection of food, cakes and sandwiches. Outdoor seating under cover. Great place for a quick stop. Next to the Town Hall. Sebastian the owner is normally here to serve you and have a chat.
