Bull and Vic Dartford Looked at their web site a couple of weeks ago saw that they were doing a offer of 2 meals for 10, so my family and I decieded to try it out, when we got to the Pub we noticed on the menu there was no mention of this offer, spoke to a member of staff who said "that offer finished well before Christmas" .We felt a bit obligated to stay and spent a bit more than we had planned for. The meals were good but be aware that at the time of writting this review they are still advertising the '" 2 Meals For A Tenner" but you will not get them! Sent a email to South Coast Inns never got a reply.

Room is large and well decorated. Staff are great. However On a very busy main road and windows do not block out traffic noise at all. Room next door decided have showers at midnight which was also extremely noisy. Could do with adding some salads and vege options on dinner menus. Waited 45 mins for a breakfast that never came so went without in the end. Was offered a takeout but given I was walking was not a viable alternative. Would return, but hope these issues can be addressed.

My husband made a lunchtime reservations for my birthday today At the George in Axminster Devon. No table was made up for us as they explained they were not busy so choose where we wanted to sit. 15 minutes later no one had approached us with a menu or a request for drinks. We gave up and left the restaurant. I was very upset and my birthday surprise was ruined. If Cromwell was in my place it would have been Off with their heads. Even in a Beefeater you get taken to your table, offered a menu and drinks. I rated one star only because I could not post this message if it was blank,. No stars is my rating.

Food took ages and was hardly warm. Manager was not that interested. Not as good as it use to be. I'm also a mystery shopper for the trade.
