I have passed this bakery many times during lockdown, having noticed the queue outside. Accordingly, on my Birthday, while passing, I popped in. I decided to purchase two almond croissant. They were heavy! Certainly heavier than I thought. Clearly, the name of the shop is descriptive of its wares, that did look delicious, especially the cakes. The almond croissant were lovely, but sweet and heavy and very filling, but I was glad I went in there. Being on a very low carb diet, this will not be a regular event for me, but for carb lovers, well, this is a place worth visiting.

Vintage-y bakery and sweet shop. High-quality bakes, lovely staff.

Went in a few weeks ago for my morning coffee (normally go to small batch but was willing to give it a go!). Asked for an americano with oat milk. Payed , got in my car and drove to work. The americano was weak and no milk in at all. It gets worse..... The cup started to disintegrate and ended up with hot coffee on my legs whilst driving!!! I have emailed them informing the of the issue and requested another coffee \on the house\, as I'm prepared to give a second chance. Zero response or acknowledgment . In addition not the greatest staff! Small batch all the way folks.

Absolutely love Sugardough. Have been gooding for years. It is pricey, but the ingredients, flavour and skill is really high. Great flavours, highly recommend the savoury tarts, danishes and all the cakes & coffee. Great service too!

I'll echo the positive carrot cake related reviews! Best I've had in a while, and well presented. I won't lie, paying just shy of 4 unfortunately puts me off thinking of this as anymore than a 'very occasional' treat. It is a shame, but the cost seems in line with the current bakery trend. Cake needn't cost this much when all made on site, in my honest opinion
