I attended the 4 session course in April, I have also been to a couple of group meditations since. My objectives were to be more relaxed and improve on sleep problems. The meditation is very straight forward and I have completed the morning & evening meditations probably 99% of times over the 4 months. After about 2 months it dawned on me that my sleep was much better. Now I get a good 7 hours sleep most nights, only waking for very short period probable once a night. I have even found the light mornings don’t worry me now. In the past I have tried mindfulness meditation, but found trying to keep my mind clear was impossible & lead to feelings of “failure” & a longing for the session to be over. Vedic meditation is simple & I look forward to the 20 minutes morning & evening. The group meditation is amazing, difficult to articulate the relaxation & satisfaction. I look on the meditation from a scientific not “spiritual” point of view, and I have been really pleased with the results so far.

I’ve been working with meditation for many years but have always found it far too easy to find an excuse not to sit and practice – until now that is. I initially went away from Will’s introductory session feeling totally tranquil and keen to know more about Vedic Mediation. Eloquently guiding us through the beginner’s course Will has a gifted ability to mix science with the spiritual to lead you through the basic principles and techniques that form into an easy practice that anyone can use. The benefits of 20 minutes of meditation twice a day are tangible even after a short few months; I’ve had some of my best night’s sleep in years. And conversely to previous practice I haven’t missed a day yet.

I am so grateful to you Will, I feel like like you have helped me to get my life back, I have had all of the joy of life returned to me. I still cannot quite believe how straightforward and simple it is!!! I was very skeptical after the first day. I think that stemmed from a deep-rooted mistrust of any thing that is not a pill and society seems to try and ram down your throat that simple things will never work. I am now a complete convert and spend my days at work happy and cheerful, the change has been noticed by family friends and work colleagues. I am so please that finally learnt to meditate, if anyone is undecided I urge you to go for it I promise its the best decision you will ever make.

I feel compelled to write this review as Will really did change my life. Not immediately or profoundly at first, but over time I am seeing my life change for the better. My thoughts are clearer, I have more energy, I sleep better and I am happier. I came to Will after being diagnosed with Meniere's disease, a condition that can be related to stress and lifestyle. Since meditating twice a day, taking vitamin supplements and making diet/lifestyle changes I am no longer feeling the full effects of the condition. It hasn't gone away completely but I feel I have the power to control situations again, manage myself and the anxiety it brought. I am fully recommending Will's technique to everyone who asks why I am so positive and chilled these days, my wife is about to start the course too. Thanks Will! Phil

After several years of yoga, practicing mindfulness, guided meditations, I came across Sussex Meditation. I learnt to meditate for 20 minutes twice a day, repeating a simple mantra, wow the difference this has made to my life!! A yearning to alter my path in life bit not necessarily knowing how to accomplish that change, Vedic Meditation has brought clarity to my thinking, encouraged a different perspective on life and brought me a sense of calm, peace and oneness with my myself and the world I'm part of. In a world where the pace of life seems so fast and just so full of 'stuff', investing 20 mins twice a day may seem daunting but the rewards are significant and bountiful. The Sussex Meditation team are genuine, sincere, thought provoking and fun!

I tried mindfulness meditation on and off for around 15 years but could never clear my mind of thoughts. I always felt like i was failing. Vedic meditation turned out to be exactly what i was looking for: a practical, easy way of meditating based on the simple repetition of a mantra. After four months of meditating twice a day, i've already felt a difference in myself: a greater sense of underlying calm, a clearer perspective on some of life's persistent niggles, and i'm sure it helped me stop smoking too.
