Adapted really well to the new restrictions that came in today, reasonable priced food and drink and helpful/friendly staff. I've been coming here for nearly 40 years on and off and it's still a good staple place to come with friends and family. Great to see such a long standing place surviving and adapting through the many challenges over the decades.

bit of a plain interior, but nice customers, good pub food, reasonable prices for draft beer. However got served by the rudest woman, honestly shocking she genuinely said "whatever, as long as you're leaving" when we were thanking her on the way out. My friends and I had come in a little late in the eve, (COVID times), but Jesus I've never had a member of staff be such a **** for no reason. Every time we spoke to her she was rude and strangely confrontational. Genuinely rude enough that I'm writing a google review. Actually mad.
Excellent inexpensive local pub. Friendly staff and food tasty pub style grub at great prices. So glad it's open again!

Staff are always friendly and efficient and Peroni is always served chilled to perfection. Pub is spotlessly clean and its a huge cavernous space with plenty of fresh air so felt totally safe.
Had a very pleasant experience today, felt very comfortable and at ease with the lovely lady that served us. Thank you, be safe x
Love it. Always welcoming and great customer service. They've got Covid restrictions right. Really pleased it's reopened. Always feel comfortable here, even when on my tod.
