Was really disappointed by a place with such an good reputation and that came recommended. The portion sizes were very generous, but the food was at best average in quality. There was an unpleasant smell, and the atmosphere wasn't particularly inviting while having a meal. There's far better pub grub in lots of places in the Selby and Howden area
Delicious home cooked food
Very tasty food. Service a little slow but for a relaxing Sunday dinner it's perfectly fine. Huge portions!!! Really huge! Good choice of food, something to suit everyone. Very friendly staff (: Will definitely be coming back!
Hmmm got to say disappointed here. If heard great things about this place. They say the food is great. But we came with our dog and although dog friendly outside only please. Fair enough. Ales on tap. Staff very busy and to be honest I felt we where in the way a bit. Food was being seaved....nice though
Simply the best place for a pub lunch in the area. Great value, although the beer can be a little pricey. The food is excellent and offers a great deal for your money. You won't go home hungry!
The food is amazing and there is lots of it. My favourite isvthe sweet and sour chicken with chips. The chef is amazing.
Great place for food. Really recommend the Rossini sirloin steak! Prepare yourself for a food vs man challenge!
