They offer overnight stays in a rustic 1930's barn that's on the brink of collapse as well and the rates are phenomenal

Bit of a difficult place to find but it is really worth the drive and small backpacking trip over the creek by the 2 trunk elm. Once there, it’s clear that the interior of the restaurant is a pleasure to the eyes and the aroma of freshly cooked elk is beyond belief. Our server was very polite and attentive and recommended a filet minot which was beautifully paired with a dandelion infused IPA. All in all, an excellent culinary experience for me and my partner. One watch out, departure through the woods back to the parking once the sun goes down can be tricky but the bouquet of fresh garlic and gasoline soaked cloth torch provided ample security from the revenges of the wild beasts that patrol the restaurant.
If you don't mind a bit of a hike wondering through fields and woodlots this place is a real diamond in the rough. Their signature "Shabu Shabu Beef Gumbo" is probably the best I've had. What this place lacks in decor (or a working washroom) they more then make up for in their culinary excellence and Chef Deaner is always cooking up something tasty guaranteed to please the palate
Best food in town. Try the mushrooms
