Really beautiful place ..but a lack of maintenance on the buildings are a real disappointment..as Seals ooen water swim club we love the water here

Midmar dam is a special place. It is beautiful, clean, fresh and spacious. Be warned to never go there on 26 Feb or 1Jan if you want peace and quiet, the other 363 days are great, also take some loo roll with.. Go boating, fishing or for a picnic, remember to clean up after yourself and take your own braai if you want to braai.
