I can't say enough about the Howliday Inn staff and the lead trainer Michael.
My husband, dog, & cat all passed within 2 weeks of each other this May. Being a dog lover, I found my next dog companion *Fender* from a rescue within a month. I did this while ill & grieving, not taking fully into consideration the issues that could arise. Fender was smart from the get go, but it became obvious that I needed help.
I hesitantly enrolled Fender in a 2 week training, boarding and socialization course. The results were amazing. Amazing.
Our lead trainer Michael is professional, knowledgeable, kind, full of expertise and charisma.. Fender's butt wags sooo hard when he hears Michael's voice that he nearly levitates. He also does this with every assistant trainer. It's obvious he's happy to see them.
Michael trained Fender, but more importantly he took the time, listened and trained me! He taught me about dog behavior, hierarchy, rules, limitations, mental stimulation and exercise. Yep. A Dog Whisperer. He taught me how to easily reinforce training and get the results. I now have a dog who is happy, well adjusted, socially appropriate, & behaved. In fact his use of NePoPo training was so effective, that Fender and I are investing in off leash, agility & guard dog training. Dogs love to learn and please and Fender is no exception.
When relaxing with Fender in the evenings I look around my home and at my polite, sweet boy and am thankful. Michael & Howliday Inn probably saved me money... and stress. Imagine the vet bills, worry, a probable chewed up Fender guitar/personal belongings... had I not taken the chance. All the staff are amazing, but Michael is worth every penny. Fender is well on his way to being a happy, obedient, well adjusted, social doggo. We smile every time we pull into Howliday Inn for a pack play day or training session. Eleven stars for sure -- highly recommend, Eileen Kelley RN
