Let me get started with their professionalism it is just something you won’t get anywhere else, they would do anything in their power to help you as their customer. Hubbard insurance has been the first and only agency I have had since I started my business back and 2013 and believe me there is a reason why they have been my FIRST and only ONE! Leslie was such an extraordinary help with getting our business equipment insured and even helped us through the process of acquiring a TX DOT number. I had my watercraft insured with them but they are so unpleasant to deal with that I am going elsewhere. Not very bright either - had to explain to them that the payment was quarterly - not monthly. My policy gives me the option of one payment of around 550 or 4 payments of 150 each (600 total) . They could not get their head around the fact that it was not a 150 PER MONTH payment. I expect my CPA and my Insurance agent to be competent with math and detail oriented ( I don't really care if the person serving my fries failed math). Plus I expect anyone I am paying for a service to also be pleasant. Avoid. Their response just proves my point. I told their employee at least 3 times that they payments options was quarterly and he kept insisting that they were monthly. When I asked the lumps sum amount, he could not provide it (blamed Progressive). When I asked about whether I could change the coverage he said at the end of the policy. So I cancelled (and expect the prorated amount for the cancelled period back). On top of which, we were NEVER on payments with them - we pay all of our insurance bills in full to get the lower rate. So their response demonstrates that they are willing to gloss over their errors, twist the narrative and can not even be bothered to check if we were on payments or not. Sad. I wonder if they will choose to keep digging the hole deeper?
