Was kept informed from day 1. Engineer rang beforehand, was on time. All covid protocols were used. He knew exactly what the problem was and the repair was done efficiently. Would highly recommend this company.

Simple online system to book appointment for engineer to call. Received phone call offering earlier appointment if convenient. Engineer phoned before arrival. Looked smart and was wearing face mask (Covid19 rules). Attended to problem. Was polite and tidied up after himself. Very happy with the service we received. Thank you.

After charging us double for a single visit then cancelling with 15 minutes to go this company then made us wait another 2 weeks before coming to try and fix our dishwasher. We then paid more money fir spare parts they failed to order. 3 months later the dishwasher remains broken. Hiding behind Go to assist they have failed miserably

Hubys accept work when they knew they would not be able to fix the fault. After providing the Manufacturer and Model number of the cooker, with a description of the fault at the time of booking, I was then told that parts are no longer available for this cooker. Surely, they knew that when I gave all the information up front, else what is it for? The Engineer arrived an hour after the allotted timeslot, that is a bit annoying but happens and the poor guy looked tired and overworked, I got the impression that it’s not a great company to work for. The Engineer quickly found the fault and left within about 15mins to get a quote/order the part. Apparently, its a common fault on gas ovens. A call the following day told me that parts are no longer available for my oven and there is nothing more that can be done. Believing that I was dealing with a reasonable local company, I asked for a goodwill partial refund, as 90 for 15mins work from a late engineer was very expensive to then be told that nothing can be done, especially when all the appliance information and fault information was provided up front and so Hubys should have known that no parts were not available for this cooker; The person I spoke to was clearly disinterested in looking after their customers or repeat trade. I am sure Hubys will be fine if you have a brand-new appliance with manufactures warranty etc but would avoid if what you want fixing is more than 5 years old as Hubys cant find the parts; my advice is to avoid Hubys and put your 90 towards a new appliance.
