This is an amazing place. All the staff members are so very nice and accommodating. When I come to pick my son up, for the day, he is never ready to leave. That, in it self, speaks volumes.

I think it an outstanding child care facility. It's more of a hands on family atmosphere. I meet the owners both him and his lovely wife. They uphold the highest standards of any other child care facility does and maybe even better. If your looking for a great and safe place where your child will be taken care of, this is the place.

My son has been enrolled in this school for over a year now and I couldn’t be happier and neither could he. The teachers are amazing, loving, understanding and enjoy being teachers- you can see it in their faces and when they talk to you. They level of engagement and learning that is provided has exceeded my expectations. They have lesson plans provided to parents and the extra activities they do with the kids are amazing. Visits from a police officer, fire truck, making apple pies, camping in the classroom... are just a few that have happened in the last month. I appreciate the balanced family style meals that are provided and the second helpings that are given when requested. The teaching here is more than just academic, they are teaching good behavior and morals as well.

Staff is great and take excellent care of our 6mo baby. Our 1st grader loves it there as well. Clean organized and good security systems in place. We have shopped around and they were competitively priced.

There's a sign on the front door saying that the door is locked, but never, at any point while my daughter was there did they lock the door. The food wasn't great, always sweet items for the afternoon snack like rice crispy treats. The director and the owner were constantly outside smoking by the playground. The director was never there at pick up or drop off times. She never returned calls or emails. They simply don't listen to the parents they're serving. When we finally made a point that no one was returning our emails and that the unlocked door was a problem, the director kicked us out. We didn't have a back up plan so we asked how our daughter could stay. We were given the conditions to not ask about the door lock any more and that we couldn't talk to the other parents about our concerns. We were lucky enough to find another place quickly, and we left Huckleberry's. Two other parents made the same choice. I don't think asking for the door to be locked is any great imposition. The owner however wanted to prove that no one was going to tell him how to run his business and in the process scared off his customers. I hope that other parents understand that if you see anything at Huckleberry's that you don't like, it won't change. Your concerns will go unanswered, and if you dare to ask about something too many times, you'll be asked to leave. Your patronage and the proper care for your child isn't worth more than the owner's pride.
