I have been seeing Dena for a little over a year now, and I am really glad I chose to have therapy with her. It's never easy starting therapy, especially if you have anxiety and depression, but from the first phonecall I felt like Dena was someone who would be kind and calm, and who wouldn't judge me. For me this was really important, and I am so glad I managed to make that call. I have seen a few therapist/counsellors over the years, some good, some not so good, and can confidently say that Dena is one of the very best of my experience. She is warm and friendly, and has a fun sense of humour that makes me laugh, even when I'm feeling low. She has always taken my problems seriously, even when I've felt silly or ashamed of something, and she has been there with support in some of my darkest times. She also has a whole realm of experience to draw on from her years as a therapist, which is really helpful. I know how hard it can be sitting there, wondering who to turn to for help. So, for anyone who is struggling with their mental health, and worrying about what to do, I would strongly advise giving Dena a call (or e-mail). You won't regret it.
