Thanks to Beth for helping me buy some great new walking boots - she really listened to what I wanted. Bought a fleecy lined waterproof coat last October and it's been great too. Definitely recommend.

I went i to buy some walking boots for myself, having no knowledge or experiencing in hiking, and so I needed a lot of help and advice! The lady who served me was awesome, nothing but helpful, and i came away with a first pair of walking boots that completely suited my price range, and physical needs too :) Cheers!

I needed shoes and hiking rucksacks for 2 children. The staff were very patient and helpful, giving us time to try on as many pairs of shoes as we needed before we found the right pair. I fully intend to shop here again when I need the rest of the D of E kit. Thank you!

Went in today looking for base layers, mid layers and outerclothing for a skiing trip for 4 people. Decided to shop local and not buy online thinking I would be able to get advice on what to buy. Walked around the shop whilst being ignored by the assistants who were too busy singing and playing cards and avoiding eye contact. I was the only customer in there for at least ten minutes. In the end I was too confused and not sure what to purchase and saw the look of dread in their faces when I tried to make eye contact. So I left and will be purchasing everything from an online retailer instead.
Recently bought a pair of walking shoes from the Huddersfield store. I had excellent service from Beth, very patient and professional. I will certainly use this store again in the future. Thankyou Beth.
