Always great food. Never had any complaints. Always friendly & happy to see me & chat even if I only call in for coffee. Excellent prices & small portions of fish on offer as not everyone wants one size fits all. Well done Paddock fish bar you are my favourite see you soon x

Been a customer here for a long while but no more. Turned up on Sunday at 5.30. Shop closes at 6. I wanted 3 fish n chips and a chicken nuggets. I did try to phone before I went to ask them to get it ready but no answer. Server looked at the clock when I ordered then consulted with someone in the back and then lied and told me they had un out of chips\. Quite clearly they didn't want to serve me as it was half an hour till closing. Pathetic. If you don't want to serve after 5.30 then close at 5.30, not 6. You just lost a customer due to your poor customer service.

Delivery came earlier than estimated, fish and chips were perfect. The pies are also really nice. This is going to be my new fish and chip place now.

Nice portion of chips but were very dry. Did not like the bread it was as though it was a brick to hard. Looks the part behind the counter but personally would not recommend not worth the price

Shocking service. Told it was going to be 40 minutes, rang up an hour later as it still hadn't arrived to be told it's going to be another 40 minutes? Absolutely unacceptable. Said we could go and pick it up but wouldnt offer a discount for the wait time or inconvenience of having to collect as they're \competitively priced.\ Man on the phone didnt sound too bothered about losing business either. Wouldnt bother ordering from here, you're probably not going to get your food.
