I would like to know, why in the current pandemic climate, when the emphasis should be on social distancing and getting customers through the store as efficiently as possible has the Huddersfield main store decided to have a huge reorganisation? During my visit on Friday I had to wander about looking for where certain things had been moved to. Not good when I wanted to do my shopping and leave the store as quickly as possible.

This one is a big store on the highway in Huddersfield. You can find almost every household product here at affordable prices. Prices are affordable but more as compare to Lidl and Asda Stores in Huddersfield. The location of this store of Sainsbury is superb. It has a scenic view of hills in the backside with a glimpse of houses on the hills.
I do appreciate that they have some organic vegetables and some organic meat. Friendly staff will help you find the product. Nice selection of lumberjack cotton shirts. Wish they would have more non synthetic jackets, pullovers and sweters made out of the cotton, linen or natural wool.
What was the best supermarket in Huddersfield has now gone down hill due to incorporating an Argos store within the building. Aisles are no longer cohesive with similar ranges being in different locations. Also during current COVID19 restrictions, is there need for families of 5 & 6 to be shopping at one time? Despite signs for single shoppers & mask wearing, the Shorehead management don't seem to want to implement these guidelines in their store!!
Great store. Self scanning on app and special terminals to pay made shopping easy.
