Its an unbelievable experience walking from Slaithewaite to the pub. Several miles uphill. The rewards are worthwhile. Great views and location. Absolutely fantastic menus and foods to match. The lunchtime menu was excellent. Numerous beers and several craft beers, wines and much regular pub fayre. The interior decor is very comfortable and the atmosphere is traditional pub, but modern day. Highly recommended. Will be back again next time in town.

Fantastic pub. One of the best pubs in the valley. Fantastic service, warm friendly atmosphere, great views. Definitely recommend the farmers blonde. Been here twice this weekend (there's a name for people like us!)
Visited for a meal whilst our little girl was at school (she's just started this Sept)... We haven't been since we had her Christening Reception there just before her 1st Birthday - it was lovely to be back. Food was delicious! My partner thoroughly enjoyed his pint of farmers blonde too!
This pub is very special it takes a bit of finding it's on narrow road and in the middle of nowhere but Steve the owner and all his staff are so nice and kind and the food is to die for the Gluten free fish and chips are stunning
Good selection of beers and wines available. The food is fantastic and never disappoints with a wide menu on offer. Very friendly and helpful staff. The views are amazing and you can enjoy this from the large outside seating area. Plenty of parking spaces. Also caters for private events.
