Really great service from the Vafy team. Huge amount of furniture and everything packed into their van, they make it hold twice what you think it will. Friendly and polite and careful. And a driver who is used to our Calderdale roads! All round excellent.
If I could give more stars here I would. Vafy Transport did our recent house move and from start to finish it was excellent. Clinton did a phone and email consultation before hand to assess how much needed moving so we weren't paying for more transport space than we needed and got it pretty much exactly right. The lads on removal day were very professional, smartly dressed in Vafy uniforms and polite, but also really friendly. They said nothing about our chaotic packing helping with the last bits and took great care with our furniture, possessions and the houses at both ends. Clinton himself also came along to check everything was going smoothly and to see if we needed any more help to get finished in time. By the end of the day we had a great relationship going on so it was just like we'd had some friends come to help which was really lovely on a stressful day. They didn't even complain about our difficult stair cases or when I changed my mind about where stuff needed to be and asked them to move it to another room. Even at the end of the day when they'd done the full move over the full time we'd booked for they were happy to come with me to collect some extra furniture we'd bought for a very reasonable small extra charge. I even got a quick follow up call from Clinton after the team had left to check we were happy with everything. We were extremely happy with the whole service and while I hope we never need to move house again if we do I'd certainly go straight to Vafy Transport without any hesitation. Even with the extra run to collect some furniture the whole day only came to about 70% of what we'd budgeted for moving costs, so very reasonable prices as well. Absolutely recommend Vafy Transport to anyone needing to move house, or just wanting a 'man and van' service for a collection. Would use again.
VAFY did a house move for us. Three uniformed people turned up, they were so professional and helpful (and did not judge me for not being at all ready!) Somehow they defied the laws of physics and got all our belongings in one van. I would not hesitate to recommend this firm. Thank you!
Clinton and his crew were exemplary in challenging conditions as we dealt with current restrictions. He was fast, efficient and was prepared to deal with the difficult location we are moving to. I can't recommend him enough excellent service and great value.
10/10 service. Prior to delivery clinton was very responsive in arranging the booking and providing me with a quote. Clinton and his colleague did a house move for me. They were on time and provided a great service. They were very professional and handled my property with care. They helped move items into required rooms and even went above and beyong for me to help me put my bed together. I would highly recommend VAFY. Great prices and great services .
Absolutely first class. They delivered a large sofa and recliner chair taking every possible care imaginable. Even though they were on a tight schedule, they extended every possible courtesy and consideration. We would certainly use Clinton and his team again. True professionals.
