I would most certainly refer Ms. Huffman to anyone. After a major fall on my lower back, I could not straighten up because of pain., walked bent over into her office, received acupuncture treatment and walked out like nothing was never bothering me. Incredible actually. I am now having her treat me to lose weight and for knee pain with excellent results.

I would definitely recommend Carolyn if you’re having trouble conceiving. I have PCOS and had tried for two years. I had a 3 month wait to see reproductive medicine so I figured I’d give acupuncture a shot while I waited. Carolyn asked for a 3-6 month commitment and at 3.5 months I got pregnant! I was definitely a skeptic before, but it really did work for me. There are also several supplements, diet changes and a few lifestyle modifications that she requests, but it’s all worth it in the end.

My fertility story: After a blighted ovum miscarriage, I went through a year of fertility treatments including Clomid and multiple IUIs - and nothing was working - I was not even able to ovulate on my own. I decided to try something different, and that is when I found Carolyn Huffman. She was so kind from the very beginning and the acupuncture and herbs helped to balance my body from any adverse effects of the fertility drugs. She mentioned they also could have helped while I was taking the fertility treatments if I had chosen to continue that course. What impressed me the most is how much she cared, and how she made me feel like I wasn't broken - like there was hope for me to conceive. I started taking the recommended herbs, incorporating more of the Paleo diet, and going to see her every few days. I was able to ovulate on my own the very first month of acupunture. The very next month, I had a positive pregnancy test! I am now into my second trimester. I am so very thankful that I found Ms. Huffman. I would recommend her to anyone!

Carolyn is a pro at her craft.! She genuinely wants to see everyone attain a healthy body and I sensed this from our conversations during my sessions. My experience with acupuncture arose because, I am 44 and wanted to give my 3 yr old son a sibling. After trying on our own for a year and then learning IVF wouldn’t be an option because of finances, I approached acupuncture therapy after doing some internet research. Fortunately, Huffman Wellness is located around the corner from me and I knew it had been there atleast 10 years. When I first came to Carolyn my BB Temps were all over the chart, I wasn’t getting an LH surge on the OPK’s and I had a short luteal phase. I was mentally foggy, my demeanor ran hot and cold, I was tired halfway thru the day and taking naps on the weekends. In the first month of attending once a week sessions, I finally saw the LH surge on my OPK! Unfortunately , it didn’t seem to correspond with the ovulation dip, cervical fluid change or temp rise thereafter, but in the second month it did! Not only was my body working in sync again but, my BBT charts took on a normal biphasic pattern, my luteal phase was longer and I was no longer tired during the day. Even if I never get pregnant using this treatment, I would continue to use acupuncture for an overall sense of wellbeing. My mental clarity is back! My body feels like I’m in my thirties again! I am calm, even when there is chaos around me. The calmness that came over me was what I noticed after my first session and it never went away. There were many other changes I could list, but it would probably be TMI for some ) So , if you are thinking about going….GO!
