We have had a very turbulent experience with the 3 deliveries needed to get our new bed in full. The first two deliveries (mattress and headboard, then a loan base due to salesman mistake) were terrible! The final delivery yesterday was fabulous! The 2 delivery guys were fabulous, so helpful and built the bed for us! Nothing like this was offered by previous delivery staff. The final 2 guys deserve a 10 if that’s possible!

Delivered when they said, communication was good too with plenty of emails prior to delivery and texts and phone call on the day. Covid made us wait 6 weeks for it but that's not Bensons fault. All round great service and friendly staff when we purchased, very helpful and not pushy or rude at all which is what we found in other stores. Perfect.

First class service from the day we purchased to the delivery. We were kept inform regularly and was delivered on the date promised The bed and mattress we bought are excellent and top quality

Polite and friendly staff, they left us to browse at our own pace. We had done research online but wanted to check the build quality before purchasing a bed. All in all a pleasant experience. Michael knew the product well, was able to answer all our questions and we decided to purchase there and then.

the two delivery men were polite and efficient however they did not wear face masks when they entered the house as I thought they might as a previous e mail from Bensons requested I wear a mask and informed me that the delivery team were supplied with full PPE....which I believed would have included a face mask.

Actually delivery guys were great. But they are a third party hired by bensons. Bensons themselves - were fine but kept changing the delivery date. So little frustrating but I understood the issues. When I called bensons after a message left for me to call to arrange another delivery the guy was extremely rude - I have never had a phone call like it. It was awful. Not helpful - asked why I was calling & when I explained I was following up a voicemail left he told me so “what do you want me to do about it? “ “I said I assume it’s to organise a delivery & he said so you don’t really know then?just completely unexpected. And as the conversation continued his attitude got worse & worse. I was pretty relaxed about things being delayed due to brexit & covid but he was just completely off this planet with how rude & unhelpful he was. Couldn’t believe you allowed this guy to be customer facing as clearly he can’t speak to people & was very angry with the world. I only wanted to book my delivery & find out when my bed would arrive.

Bought a mattress and was told it was a tempur but later found out that it wasn't. After only 18 months it started to cause problems. Turns out that it had delamination and the memory foam had not got the springback any more. I had to pay to get an independent assessment done and report on it before they were even interested in replacing it. I had to do everything, they even suggested that I go choose a new one before I even had a credit note, thus trying to making me do several journeys. I asked about doing it online but they couldn't get that right either as all the replacement ones they told me about the store didn't have any more. My suggestion is if you must buy from them, keep ALL paperwork AND tape every call you make to them. Get everything agreed on paper and get a name, time, date on each call. If possible get their direct line telephone extension number as they may suggest that this person doesn't work there any more. If all fails get in touch with the bed ombudsman as Bensons have to abide by their decision. Just remember that according to the 1968 sale of goods act, "goods must be of merchantable quality and fit for the purpose for which they were purchased".
