I cannot express how awful my experience of renting a Unicom flat was. The house was in poor condition when I moved in. I decorated it the best I could to make it homely, and tried to make it work. At first I enjoyed living there. However, it wasn't long before the problems arose. The landlord began to regularly let himself into the property without prior notice. I recall once waking up in my bedroom one the morning with jolt on finding him standing over me . Later, whilst I was at work, Unicom let entered the premises and stole a 3 piece suite from me that was in the process of being moved from the shared hallway into my flat. This had genuinely been left to me by my deceased grandma. I presume this is now furnishing another Unicom property somewhere. On another occasion workmen let themselves into the property, again without notification whilst I was working, to carry out \maintenance\ on the kitchen. The work was in response to an unfavourable Council environmental assessment that had been carried out prior to this. On returning home I discovered a smouldering pile of masonry, my pots, pans, and my other kitchenware in the garden. The kitchen had also been demolished to such an extent that it was unusable. The work was left in the state, and never completed for the rest of my tenancy. When moving out, I returned home to find that Unicom's workmen had let themselves into the house yet again without informing me. They were now accompanied by presumably one of their children as it was the summer holidays. I was alarmed to discovered that had opened up my packed boxes and were going through my property. The kid was attempting to setup my previously packed PC up to play games on it! Later, after unpacking, I discovered that over 500 of electric equipment had vanished.

Been with Unicom for two years now and they've been brilliant to us, we've had two flats with 16 of us in total and whenever any of us have a had a problem they've settled it as soon as. When there's been any disruption they've always been happy to make up for it. The best thing is the service as well, the staff are always polite and understanding and care about their tenants and become familiar faces compared to other companies who you never really know who you're dealing with
Just moved in to one of their properties, very approachable when we were looking round properties and gave us many choices to pick what we considered to be our favourite. They send us regular emails to keep us updated. No problems at all so far!
Great accommodation with great value! Been with Unicom for 2 years and now going into my third year. Any issues we have had within the house have been resolved on the day. Would recommend to a friend.
My self and the lads have been with Unicom for the last 2 years and have just resigned for next acc too. Staff are very nice and cant do enough for you. Repairs are great, we have had a couple over the period of being in this house and they have been fixed on the day reported.
