I am not one for posting negative comments about a business but I just feel that people should know about my experience over the last 5 years with Stratstone Hull. I bought a new car from them in 2015 and have always booked a courtesy Car or a while you wait service. On three separate occasion I have turned up to be told I did not book the car or while you wait. Then for a manager to say they are going to check the call and never come back. But this is nothing compared to what happened During the Covid outbreak. I booked my car in for Feb just before it turned 5 In March so I got my final service on my package. They cancelled this due to Covid and I understood why, however when I took the car in today at the first opportunity I have had since they reopened they have said they are going to charge me over 280 because it is over 5. If you live in hull and want a BMW or Mini go to Marshall’s of Grimsby I have just ordered a new JCW Clubman form there and they are brilliant. And the new service pack means you can take it to any Mini dealer but I will not be using Stratstone after today after sales is shocking.

Don't use these people be warned. Bought a mini from them, they can't help enough until you pay up and your warranty has expired, but after that your on your own. My wife was stuck without power to the car for three days, it just went dead (not battery) asked for advice, they hadn't a clue what was wrong. They don't even know how the product they're selling works.( let us know how you get on is what they said). An independent engineer said he would fix it for a 300 I sorted it out myself for 2. Be warned all Mini's will have this problem you will be stranded!!!! As for your response how he hell could I bring it in for inspection when it was totally dead? Why do you think my wife who was stranded was on the phone with you experts asking for advice? Only to be told "let us know how you get on" You could have helped her by sending someone out to reassure her, after all the customer loyalty and business we have given you over the years it's the least you could have done. Muppets!! Ps. We would have gladly paid for you assistance if it had been offered.
