Is this a scam!?!?!? I moved out of the property in April 2020 but they are claiming we owe money from July 2020. They've asked me for proof and annoyingly because we left the property & gave our keys back in such a rush due to Covid, we were never given any official documents but we didn't pay rent or any other bills after April. I gave Wescot copies of emails that me and the agents had as proof of us moving out but apparently these were not sufficient. I've contacted the agency for official documents but they are just as useless as Wescot, & have not got back to me. Wescot told me I owe 20 but on the emails they've sent, there is a sum of 220 under my so called 'reference number'. I mean, who do they think was paying the water bills between April-July!? Certainly wasn't us since we did not live there! I really don't know what to think. It's extremely dodgy how the only way you can pay them is through an account number and sort code listed on their website!!! I work in telesales & marketing and I can safely say no respectable company would ever dream of posting their own bank details so willy-nilly! I think I'm going to put this down to a scam & hopefully never to speak to them again.

Reading some of these comments put me at ease. I do not understand why I have been contacted by wescot. They wouldn’t tell me why they texted me unless I give out my personal details. Which is a big no.

Very friendly and very helpful. They fully understood my situation and help me set up an affordable payment plan. Never pressured me and the direct debit set up was really easy. They do send lots of letters but what debt company does'nt only negative if the adele playlist when on hild but thats personal preference .
