Photograph attached of the sweet potato fries we ordered with cheese that were RAW, covered in water (from sweating) and cross contaminated with what looked like a a very old mushroom in them. On top of that - the actual box the food was in was filthy on the inside and outside. We ordered 2 burgers, 2 fries, 2 milkshakes and some wings and it all ended up binned. Nothing we ordered even contained mushrooms, this needs reporting to avoid a possible food allergy scenario with your customers. The burgers were described as 4oz x3 and felt/tasted like the cheap, thin burgers you see in a standard takeaway. They were covered in dark grease and tasted awful. Layered in the burger were additional bun lids that were squashed flat? We expected much more for the 8 we paid (per burger..) Additionally, the wings were so overcooked they tasted of pure oil. We love crispy wings but these were far too over done to be enjoyable. We can't eat a mouth full of oily batter. Finally, the melted milkshakes we received were delivered by a gentleman who had no mask, gloves and the straws were touching his skin. We also heard him coughing as he closed our gate. At the time of this review, we're in lockdown and battling a global pandemic. I'm just going to leave this review here. We will never, ever return.

What an absolute rip off. Decided to drive from work on my lunch half hour for a treat. Went for the spicy chicken fillet burger with fries no drink. However the girl at the till found it confusing that I didn't want a drink with my meal. It took her that long to work it out I just told her to give me a banana milkshake if that was part of the deal. Got back to work late then tucked in. Chips were overcooked, and the burger had grey chicken, overcooked, dry and no spice at all. It was just a plain chicken burger. The 'banana mikshake was just milk, no banana flavour at all.Well overpriced, I could have had a gourmet meal elsewhere for the price. Such a shame as Yankeeland is iconic in Hull.

Had two cheeseburger meals with chips and a drink. Unbelievable food, burger was tasty and the seasoning on the fries never disappoints. Friendly service too, all round top food and service, would definitely recommend
