Physically went to their office two days ago to ask about getting married, receptionist had no info whatsoever and couldn’t tell us what documents we needed. Claimed we needed “everything” but couldn’t specify. Annoyed, she sent us away and asked us to call back today to speak to an immigration officer. I have tired calling 11 times over the last hour and a half - no one answers the phone! Very frustrating considering I waited in a queue for nothing whilst 40 weeks pregnant. Still waiting for someone to answer my call!

Covid regulations makes it difficult but they are efficient. Waited for 2hrs from getting inside to getting the birth certificate. The security devide the people in different lines for different services.

We went to collect our ID and had to wait over 2hours just to collect. Their service is very slow and unorganized.

Well, after reading all the bad reviews I was very hesitant to attempt application for a new passport. I popped in this morning to check it out, very busy. The receptionist lady advised me to come back at 2 pm with old passport etc. Arrived at 2 pm, still busy, but registered at reception, and 25 min later had photos, prints done. By 3 pm all done. It is 4 stages in total, but it went fairly smooth. I think a smile and friendliness goes a long way. Thank you to all the ladies at Kouga, that was great service

Pathetic service, wish the system can be changed somehow. Be sure to check the information being entered into the system as most of the staff are incompetent. I would recommend going after 2 pm to save on que time but they will definitely work at their own pace nonetheless. If i could give zero stars i would.

Since my last review, I have been back to Humansdorp Home Affairs twice to collect my passport, after having received notification it was ready for collection. I still do not have my passport. Today I arrived at 1pm and the front entrance was locked. The security lady tells me that they have reached their quota of customers for the day. Only 2 members of staff arrived to work today. She says everyone else is on sick leave.....it's Friday today and the day after a public holiday.

Even though it has become paperless in recent times and there are more staff the process to apply and collect is still as slow as ever. Since Lorraine left, nobody answers the phones either so calling this branch will yield no results. Dragging of the feet process needs to be resolved.
