New landlords very welcoming, especially to the kids. Excellent Sunday roast and delicious puds. We look forward to trying more of the menu in coming months.

Does simple things quite well, had a large party catered for very well, good service. Mains were tasty, nothing fancy, most presented nicely. The chili looked basic but was actually tasty. Burger came on a wooden board and chips in a little metal basket. Chips are bog standard not actually fried in the basket. Does venison, and a full crust pie! My sponge was microwaved - dry with burnt bits in the middle. But other puddings looked nice. Decent servings. Or at least rich enough to fill you up. Staff were lovely and very efficient service. Went the extra mile to help with our young kids. Would recommend for a casual pub meal or large party.
