This place is great to come in and get a cool drink when it's boiling sun outside. We sat Inside because it's cooler. They do have a nice terrace area where you can watch the sun go down. We had a glance at the menu which offers good traditional British food. Great place.

Service with a smile. I think not. Food here is really nice and value for money However staffs attitudes need to improve. (apart from one young girl who was really friendly and clearly enjoyed her job) I know at the moment we all had to be careful and wear face masks. But I was totally shocked to see and hear the owner/manager to shout over quite rudley to another customer to put her mask on. I know it's the rules but a polite reminder would have been more appropriate. I mean the poor lady had only just stood up. Shocking and then to be placed on a table which wasn't 2 metres from the next one. What's going on
Not bad food could be better prepared and service could be refined.
We stopped here for chips while visiting Hunstanton. The chips actually came in a paper bag, which was really handy for carrying. They were very reasonably priced considering we were at the seaside. They were really good chips (potato, very few black bits). They were perfectly cooked in dripping which you don't get down south any more and expertly covered in salt and vinegar by the server. We were able to eat on the rooftop terrace which was really nice. Having got home yesterday, I wish I could go back there for some more today!
I visited the Waterside a few times over this summer whilst visiting family in Hunstanton. I have to say I was highly impressed at how attentive the staff were cleaning down everything after a customer has left tables/chairs/ashtrays and so on. I felt very safe in the strange world we are living in now. You can't beat the sunset from the balcony either.
