Damien was incredible throughout my experience with Bartlett Automotive. I’ve had some absolutely shocking garages working on my car, but at Bartletts, they took the time to listen to what I wanted including set up for track driving and delivered it to a tee. I will be going back early next season for more work and have full confidence and trust that the service will once again be outstanding! If you have a bmw or mini and don’t want to get ripped off with dealer prices but want top work carried out, go to Bartletts!

As I found out in the end I had a basic, common ABS sensor issue so I contacted Bartlett but they were unable to find the problem after checking their diagnostic scan. I explained the problem in detail but they didn’t really care and didn’t communicate with each other just wanted to see what the diagnostic scan would show. The only fault it showed was the nox sensor so they said it needed changing which would solve the problem I had. I had it done for more than 600 with everything but I still had the same issue afterwards. I went back and then they found the ABS issue saying both rear driveshafts needed changing which would cost me another 1300. I tried to search for help and in the end I found an excellent BMW mechanic who fixed my car for only 120! Just the ABS sensor on the right side needed changing and the error lights on the dashboard didn’t come up any more! Bartlett said before it would be the left side, though...and that without changing the driveshafts the issue couldn’t be fixed. As on this other diagnostic scan which was done by the person who fixed my car, the nox sensor which was changed by Bartlett still appeared as a fault, I went back to Bartlett and asked them to check and show me what the original and new scans found. The manager was extremely rude and called me dishonest cause of this! He said that the new nox sensor was working fine but their new scan said “fault currently present, sulphur load too high”. So if it was still a fault on their scan, too , it was just waste of money to get it changed, and by the way it wasn’t the issue I wanted to get fixed, and again the same person had to fix it who fixed the ABS issue. I know someone who also had bad experience with this company considering what part was fitted and what was charged so I would not recommend Bartlett to anyone.
