Great place to walk, with or without dogs. It gets muddy when the weather has been wet, though there are some paths which are surfaced and are suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs or mobility scooters. The majority are not, though. The reservoir is on high ground and very open so it can get very windy. This is great on a hot summer day but might be off-putting in the winter. Wrap up warmly! Views over the reservoir are very pretty. The surrounding countryside is also beautiful. Parking is plentiful in the winter, scarce on summer afternoons, and reasonably priced. There is a visitor centre (have not visited) and a cafe. There is also a sailing club and other activities (looks like paintball but I can't confirm).

A 10.4mile walk around the water on mostly tracks is a nice way to unwind. Thank's to this 2021 lockdown crop, Grafham and other reservoirs have gotten very busy. Still its big enoigh for everyone to space themselves out. Best get there early if you want to do the full circle.

Lovely place. Good walks and cycle rides. Fishing to picnics has it all. Great family location. Nice little visitors centre and cafe. Freindly staff and well maintained.

Nice long walk all the way round. Cafe and visitor centre. Probably better on a dry day! Watch out for the anglers on the dam - as they cast out the lines and hooks come over the wall and it’s a bit of a gamble to be walking along there when it’s happening. Run!
