I lovely secluded wood. Quite rugged and a little small but beautiful in spring and Autumn. Lots of wild life roaming about and I've never known it to be busy (more than 2/3 groups of people at any one time) Only downside is during late summer if it rains its mosquito heaven so avoid if its just rained recently. Also be aware there may be sum inquisitive cows in the first field, theyre just saying hello, not circling for the kill like my wife thought

Great little walk, lots of nature in a small area. The bluebells were out when we went to especially nice.
Nice wood, but be sure not to follow the road through the gate as its a farm. The wood is accessed via the field (left side of the field) who's entrance is in the small car park. The road there is not good.
Lovely place for a walk. The woods have some beautiful flowers in spring, and there are extra walking fields out back with public rights of way through. The woods are small but combined with the field walks, and nearby Upwood meadows, there is plenty of walking to be done.
Careful where you walk, had never been before and accidentally ended up on farm land and got told off by the farmer even though I followed the path
