Tonight my daughter met a lady who is a gift from God at Shell Garage Fenstanton. My daughter was driving South from Newcastle when after many road closures she became totally lost in the dark. Low battery on her phone and needing petrol with insufficient funds on her card, she found herself in this garage in a blind panic. A wonderful lady named Summara gave her money so that she had enough fuel to get home and also obviously she provided my daughter with significant comfort. When I contacted the garage and spoke to her, she said she didn’t want the money. What a wonderful person. Shell Fenstanton, you must be very proud of this lady.

The petrol station, range of options in store are good. Not much space to park but my major issue is the toilets. The toilets smell awful and have overflowing bins. They do have a separate accessible toilet but it was in use so I didn't see it.

Handy place to stop, has toilets. Especially if you're stuck in traffic. There's a useful back exit into Fenstanton.
