Unfortunately, this is my local. I've been in numerous times because it is my local but have always felt an underlying atmosphere of hostility and aggression. There are some lovely regulars, and they were the only factor that kept me giving this place a try but enough is enough. It's a hostile and negative place which is happy to let people with regressive hateful attitudes and views hold court at will. It even tolerates patrons physically threatening other people openly in the bar. Don't waste your time on this place, it deserves to go out of business. Pubs like this should not be supported. Go to the Green Man in Colne a mere 5 minutes away instead. It's worth it.

Lovely dog friendly welcoming pub. Good, well kept beer. Natives, with one very noticeable and voluable exception, were friendly.
