Updating my review from the original 3 years ago. Not pleased with how Crunch decided to handle the pandemic. In Spring 2020 when gyms initially closed down, Crunch put everyone's membership on freeze while they were shut down, and when they reopened in the summer sent out a message stating if you weren't comfortable returning they'd be happy to keep your membership frozen. I sent an email right away to the manager as instructed and explained I wanted to keep my membership frozen as I wasn't comfortable returning yet. No response. My monthly dues began being charged again. Now, I kept putting off going to speak to them (since you can't do anything over the phone) so I understand, it is what it is. But in December of 2020 I went in physically to cancel my membership as I was moving out of the area, and realized I'd been charged a 69 yearly membership fee! I was willing to eat the monthly charges they kept charging me even though I asked for my account to stay frozen, but I figured they would at least be willing to refund me the 69. Nope. So I was stuck paying about 100 in dues and 70 in fees for a gym I hadn't used all year, even though I followed their instructions and requested to keep my account frozen (simply because they refuse to enforce the mask mandate). I was told "sorry, nothing we can do".

Great staff. Trainers are the best and the Hydra Massage is HEAVEN. And they have tanning

This business is unprofessional and need to learn customer service. They been charging me twice a month since October 2020 when I signed up. Refused to cancel my gym membership as I followed their guidelines on how to cancel, no one reached out to Me in regards to my email I sent for a complaint. When I finally got someone they said no one made me sign up. Which is unacceptable. They don’t know how to talk to people, they are rude. I literally hate this establishment and if I can’t resolution I will be seeking more toward legal action because they been excessively charging me and refuse to refund me and close my membership

I’ve literally never stepped inside a crunch fitness and they refuse to let me cancel my membership given the pandemic. I signed up in early 2020 online, never went to the location to set up my account or get a membership card and then we were hit with a pandemic. I’ve complained and they said best they can do is freeze my account. I didn’t even take them up on that because if you’re going to continue to pull money from my account for a year’s membership, why prolong it. I don’t think it’s at all safe to go to a gym in our pandemic right now but crunch thinks it’s fine I guess. Gross behavior on crunch’s part.

When the pandemic started our gym memberships went into a freeze. Upon reopening I canceled my membership due to the fact I didn't feel comfortable going back to a gym yet. Fast forward to today, I received a delinquent payment notice from a debt collector. I was confused due to the fact that I had canceled my membership, I went into the gym to get the problem resolved, and they told me I never canceled my membership and that I had to pay. My next question was if my membership was not canceled, and my card not expired with automatic payment, why am I delinquent? They didn't have an answer and said that the only way to make it go away is to join again, pay for a 6 month membership and cancel again.

General Manager Rachael does not show customer service. Rude and the her tone she used to me after they over charged me as if I did something wrong is just not acceptable as General Manager. Any position in authority should show the utmost respect to their customers- she does not. Would not reccommend.

I’m honestly considering contacting their corporate office and the Department of Health over their blatant lack of regard for immunocompromised people who should have the option to conduct business with this place remotely, especially since everything they do in relation to membership is computerized. Their predatory business tactic of forcing individuals to come in person to resolve anything is irresponsible at best.

I like the gym and made many friends there. Cheap equipment however. No hammer strength, body masters, or icarian brand like nearby NERC does. Best equipment in the area. Star trac not a favorite of mine. Unfortunately the mask BS got my membership revoked. Lol. I just never had that happen before and I've been at gyms all over the world. I felt targeted, for whatever reason I don't know. I'm Native and caucasian. The old manager Shane was the man. The new manager has a bad attitude but I wish them the best.
